Amavida Coffee named Roast Magazine’s
2018 Roaster of the Year
SANTA ROSA BEACH, FL. / OCT. 20th, 2017
Big things often have small beginnings. At Amavida Coffee, we have grown from a small, local coffee roaster supplying other area businesses, to a regional roaster, retailer, and distributer of Organic, fairly-traded specialty coffee and tea products. Although we are still a small company, big things are happening! We are now growing into a household brand nationally. We are excited to share with you that we have been recognized as Roast Magazine’s 2018 Micro Roaster of the Year.
Roast Magazine is a national, specialty coffee publication that not only assesses Roaster of the Year applicants based on the taste of their coffee, but also on their business practices. This annual award recognizes Amavida Coffee for sustainability, quality of coffee, and commitment to their community, employees, and industry. We would like to thank Roast Magazine for honoring us with this award and recognition.
At Amavida Coffee, our vision is to be recognized as the leader in our industry by our customers, our employees, our community, and our suppliers. In receiving this award, we are being recognized for our vision. Sharing this with our community, customers, and broader coffee industry is a chance to be viewed in a way we may have not been seen before. We hope this recognition will help build new relationships and contribute to continued prosperity throughout our supply chain and within our communities.
“For us, coffee is not just something we drink, a product we roast, or a project we support. Coffee is a vital influence in the lives of the people and cultures we represent and serve,” explains team member Jennifer Pawlik. This award represents everyone involved in Amavida Coffee; all our team members, our growers, and our communities. It is with great enthusiasm and gratitude we share this news with you.
