When guest tour our certified organic coffee roasting facility in Florida, they have a chance to get an in-depth understanding of coffee sourcing and production. For example, the coffee in red barrels is transitional or non-organic / conventional coffee. Only a small percentage of our coffees are non-organic and are usually grown organically by small farmer coops who are working to transition to coffee. During the tour visitors can get hands on with the coffee and learn why supporting transitional coffee is important too. Although we are primarily and organic coffee roaster and prefer to support purchase of organic coffee and implement organic practices at our Florida coffee roaster in order to protect the environment and be the most sustainable brand we can be.
