Dhaka Bor Banti
High in the mountains of Guji, Ethiopia, the Dhaka Bor Banti Cooperative cultivates coffee that embodies the elegance and tradition of Ethiopia. At elevations of 2,000–2,500 meters, heirloom landrace varieties mature slowly in fertile soils, developing the delicate flavors that make this region world-renowned. This lot greets the senses with bright aromas of orange blossom, bergamot, and black tea, leading to a refined cup full of bergamot, honeysuckle, and lime.
The washed process carefully ferments and rinses the coffee cherry, highlighting clarity, florality, and citric brightness. The result is a cup that is both delicate and structured—layered with citrus zest, floral sweetness, and a clean tea-like finish.
This washed lot from Dhaka Bor Banti showcases the timeless beauty of Guji coffees: vibrant aromatics, shimmering acidity, and a graceful body that rewards thoughtful brewing. Each sip offers a journey into Ethiopia’s deep coffee heritage, where craft and terroir converge to create one of the most celebrated coffees.
This Organic Reserve Series coffee is a perfect choice for those who love delicate, floral, and citrus-driven coffees. Brew it as a pour-over or in a Chemex to unlock its full aromatic potential—it’s a bright and elegant cup meant to savor.
